What is the Rush Concert?
At the beginning of every semester, all nine (yes, NINE!) a cappella groups that comprise the University of Connecticut A Cappella Association (UCACA) come together for one amazing night of music!
When is the Rush Concert?
This fall, the Rush Concert will be held on Saturday, September 9th, 2017 at 7pm in the Jorgensen Center for Performing Arts. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door ($3 for students, $5 for non-students). We hope to see you there!
Am I required to go to the Rush Concert in order to audition?
No! Although attending the Rush Concert will give you a great taste of each group's style and personality, it is not a requirement for auditions.
Do I have to be involved in a cappella in order to attend the Rush Concert?
No, all are welcome to attend! Whether you're interested in auditioning, or you just want to have a night full of awesome music, this is a concert you do NOT want to miss!
Where do I buy Rush Concert tickets?
Tickets are $3 for UConn students and $5 for non-students. They can be purchased at the UConn A Cappella Association (UCACA) booth in the Student Union, or at the Jorgensen Center of the Performing Arts! You can stop by the UCACA table in the union any day between Tuesday 9/5 and Friday 9/8, from 11am to 5pm.
